In today’s lesson, we’re learning about when Jesus healed a leper. Now, the people with Jesus were probably running away from the guy but not Jesus. He looked right at the guy and said, “I’ll heal you.” And, guess what? The leper was healed instantly! Kids, this story teaches us an important lesson. Jesus cares about everyone, even the people who feel left out or unimportant. Let’s remember that in our own lives and be kind to everyone, no matter who they are.
- Memory Verse: Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared. Matthew 8:3
- Main Point: Jesus cares about everyone, especially those who feel left out.
- Bible Story: Jesus heals the leper.

FAMILY DINNERS
Family dinners can be a powerful time for your family to connect and discuss, if you are willing to leverage those moments. Check out this month’s Online Parenting Class for some helpful ideas.
The Bible speaks often about food and meals. There is something spiritually significant about meals. Think about it for a moment. Christ referred to Himself as the “Bread of Life” (John 6). The way He asked His disciples and us to remember Him was around a meal (Matt. 2). Even when we look to the future and eternity, we will be celebrating at a meal, the “Wedding Supper of the Lamb” (Rev. 19). Meals are powerful moments for your family. Do not miss out on those moments and the power they can provide.
